Valerie Brown is an entrepreneur, speaker, and creative visionary based in Dubai, where she serves as CEO and Founder of Ebullient Impact, a global ecosystem blending culinary diplomacy, storytelling, leadership development, and happiness-centered coaching.

Before founding her company, Valerie enjoyed a distinguished career in the United States Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service, where she rose through the Senior Foreign Service to a level equivalent to Ambassador. During her tenure, she served across continents including London, Shanghai, Mexico City, Dubai, and Taiwan, leading initiatives that bridged nations through food and cultural diplomacy. She also coordinated the first United States Pavilion at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, amplifying American innovation and agriculture on one of the world’s most prestigious stages.

Valerie created the FAS Foreign Service Fellowship Program, designed to open doors for aspiring diplomats through education, mentorship, and exposure to international careers. Her acclaimed TED Talk, “Trust the Procrastinator,” showcases her ability to blend humor, storytelling, and life lessons into transformative insights that inspire audiences around the world.

A natural storyteller and connector, Valerie is the creative force behind the My Food Story Project, an international culinary diplomacy initiative that celebrates food as a universal language of love, culture, and connection. What began as a 551-page coffee-table cookbook evolved into a global movement linking chefs, home cooks, and students across continents.

Valerie has been published in numerous outlets including the American Foreign Service Association’s journal, where she has shared her perspective on diplomacy, leadership, and cultural connection. She is also the author and host of The Ebullient Woman and Valerie with the Big Hair Eats the World, inspiring audiences with humor, authenticity, and joy. Her newest literary venture explores how women rise, laugh, and reinvent themselves in life’s most transformative seasons, a bold and heartfelt project that invites women everywhere to reclaim their power with grace and laughter.

A proud graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and her master’s in agricultural economics, Valerie’s journey is one of passion, perseverance, and purpose. As a single mother of five, including two adopted while serving overseas, she continues to mentor and empower youth around the world, proving that joy, courage, and curiosity can turn any dream into destiny.
