Prof. Dr. Michael Gerlich

Professor Dr. Michael Gerlich, a former industry leader and government advisor, is a leading international voice on the societal impact of Artificial Intelligence and one of the most recognised researchers on how AI shapes human cognition, critical thinking, and organisational transformation.He leads the Center for Strategic Corporate Foresight and Sustainability at SBS Swiss Business School. 

His work, published in high-ranking journals and featured in global media such as The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and The Guardian, among many more, explores the opportunities and risks of generative AI for individuals, corporations, and society.

In the past year alone, he has delivered keynote speeches and presented his research on five continents, including at the United Nations, the Future Talent Summit, and leading industry and research events in Japan, South Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
