Angelina Jolie is an Academy Award-winning actor, filmmaker, and globally recognised humanitarian. Over more than two decades, she has used her platform to champion human rights, education, and conservation, earning widespread respect for her dedication to global causes.

Formerly Special Envoy to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Jolie undertook over a dozen field missions to refugee camps and conflict zones in countries including Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria, and Sudan. Her advocacy has influenced policy discussions on displacement, gender equality, and international justice.

For her humanitarian work, she has received the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award and was appointed Honorary Dame Commander of the Order of St Michael and St George (DCMG). Beyond her advocacy, she founded the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation, supporting community development and conservation initiatives, and Atelier Jolie, a creative collective promoting ethical design and craftsmanship.
